WHO WE ARE

Augusta MomCo is a community mom group that meets at Wayne Hills Baptist Church. MomCo is short for The Mom Community and is an international group that meets at churches all over the world! Our mission is to encourage and equip moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.

Though our leaders are from Wayne Hills Baptist Church and we are professing Christians, our group is not made up of any denomination or religious background, and we welcome moms from all walks of life to connect with one another and grow deeper in our roles as mothers. We are made up of expecting moms through moms of elementary-aged children, a leadership group, and mentor moms.

The only cost to attend MomCo is an annual $37 membership, which goes to the MomCo organization to provide us with resources for meetups, as well as a quarterly magazine to your door. OUR MONTHLY MEETUPS

We typically have nine monthly meetups throughout the school year, as well as a few extra events! If you'd like to come to a meeting, please let us know you're coming by clicking the button below, so we can save you a seat! Pre-registering also allows us to have plenty of childcare volunteers and speeds up checking your kids in when you get here.

At each monthly meetup, you can expect to have time to chat with others moms over brunch, an icebreaker activity to get to know others, a craft or activity, a video or guest speaker teaching on a practical topic, and small group discussion centered around the teaching. Our theme for this year's meetings is Wild Hope, with the theme verse Isaiah 43:18-19: "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

WHERE WE MEET

Augusta MomCo meets at Wayne Hills Baptist Church, right around the corner from Target in Waynesboro. Our address is 877 Ladd Rd. Waynesboro, VA 22980. When you walk in the front doors, a volunteer will be there to greet you. You'll head to the left to check-in and drop off your children if they are with you, then to the Fellowship Hall for brunch and kid-free time with other mamas!
